February is the month of love, and we’re celebrating it with an exceptional webinar that combines passion, expertise, and innovation. Get ready to reconnect, learn, and fall in love with bone science all over again!
Can we truly identify love in the past, or are our interpretations simply projections of modern culture? Numerous human burials have been labeled as evidence of romantic love or affection, but not everything is as it seems. This webinar examines several of these famous burials and the critiques they’ve inspired from a bioarchaeological perspective. We will also discuss possible ways to infer love in the past, including the bioarchaeology of care approach, and consider how the bioarchaeological study of love can deepen our understanding of both ancient and modern ways of loving.
Don’t miss the opportunity to attend this webinar with our speaker, Nenad Andrić!
