How can we trace the movement of people, objects, and ideas in prehistory? Using evidence from the Late Mesolithic (c. 7000–6000 BCE) in the Danube and Dnipro regions, along with zooarchaeology and ancient DNA, this study explores a unique adornment practice using fish teeth. These ornaments, found in burials and settlements, reveal connections across wide prehistoric cultural networks.
